The design for SHAWOOD at Sommers Bend was born out of Woodside Homes’ unique set of values: biophilia, wellness, technological innovation, and a deep respect for nature. Our task was to translate those priorities to resonate with both growing families and move-down buyers attracted to Temecula’s calm, laid-back lifestyle.
The award-winning luxury model homes we designed offer three distinct approaches to modern indoor-outdoor living. Each is united by an underlying aesthetic that highlights translucency. Natural materials and warm woods echo the golden hills visible through sleek glass walls and oversized windows to create spaces that are in dialogue with the land.
Clean lines meet a palette of warm colors and natural textures in a home where every corner is designed to glow in the golden Californian light.
Seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces, elevated finishes, bold-but-earthy design details—this is biophilic luxury.
Luxurious by nature
Woodside Homes’ organic modern ethos is highlighted in each model home’s contemporary aesthetic, grounded with a sophisticated palette of earthy textures, materials, and finishes. Warm tones and woods were chosen to enhance spaces where the golden Californian sun streams through floor-to-ceiling glass walls or sliders, while natural stone, plush suede, and tactile rattan bring the textures of the high desert indoors.
Embracing the homebuilder’s deep respect for nature, sustainable and environmentally conscious materials were prioritized in each model. In the Kiri Plan, we highlighted that commitment even more with a net-zero design that doesn’t skimp on luxury finishes and furnishings.
